Waqf Facility FPV

May YBhg. Dato’/Datin/Prof./Dr./Sir/Madam be in good health and always under the grace and protection of Allah S.W.T. With all due respect, we refer to the matter above.

 

2. For your information, the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine (FPV) is one of the founding faculties of Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM). In tandem with UPM's development, FPV has also shown rapid progress, such as the construction of the FPV complex in 2011. FPV's excellence as a pioneer and leader in veterinary education in Malaysia has been recognized, ranking among the top 50 veterinary schools in the world based on the 'QS World University Rankings' 2024.

 

3. FPV has attracted the interest of many prospective local and international students. The increase in veterinary students in recent years, coupled with aging facilities, demands the upgrading of facilities as well as the addition of new teaching and learning equipment. This is highly necessary to ensure students receive a quality education, while also providing a conducive, effective, and safe learning environment.

 

4. The newly established Waqf Fund for Teaching and Learning Facilities and Equipment will focus on upgrading teaching facilities such as lecture halls, teaching laboratories, the auditorium, examination halls, and tutorial rooms. In addition, the funds from this waqf will prioritize and support the purchase of teaching and learning equipment such as student microscopes, audiovisual aids, and teaching models.

 

5. Therefore, we invite all UPM staff/students and alumni to jointly contribute to the Waqf for Teaching Facilities and Equipment at the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, UPM.

6. Attached is the QR code for donation payment purposes. Please share your waqf donation payment slip via WhatsApp to 03-97691816 to obtain an official receipt from the Selangor Waqf Corporation (PWS) for LHDN (Inland Revenue Board) income tax deduction purposes.
