FOSTER BENEVOLENCE THROUGH THE UNIVERSITI PUTRA MALAYSIA AGRICULTURAL WAQFUniversiti Putra Malaysia (UPM) is currently spearheading a high-impact initiative known as the UPM Agricultural Waqf (Wakaf Pertanian UPM). This initiative serves as a platform for knowledge development, research, as well as the empowerment of agriculture and sustainable national food security.
Through the Agricultural Waqf initiative, waqf agriculture projects will be developed systematically and modernly to generate continuous returns. These returns will not only support academic activities but also benefit the welfare of the university community and the wider public, in line with UPM’s vision of PUTRA (Pertanian Untuk Rakyat / Agriculture for the People)—a strategic initiative launched by UPM to strengthen the national food security agenda and bring the university's agricultural expertise closer to the community.
The target for this additional fund collection is RM100,000!
