BANGI, 15 AUGUST - The Waqf, Zakat and Endowment Management Center (WAZAN), Universiti Putra Malaysia opened its exhibition and customer service counter at the CEO Townhall Meeting with the University Management here on Thursday.

This exhibition is in conjunction with a town hall event organized by UPM's Industrial Networking and Networking Center (CiRNet) involving the Chief Executive Officers (CEOs) of the Responsibility Center (PTJ) at UPM. This ceremony was attended by the University Management who are involved in sharing the facilities at UPM.

WAZAN UPM played a role in providing information regarding the distribution of funds to the beneficiaries among UPM citizens and infrastructure as an effort to intensify the activities of third source income i.e. waqf, zakat and donations together with the industry.



In the information session delivered by the officers of WAZAN UPM, it was seen that it attracted the interest of the CEOs to come together in helping UPM, especially the students in the poor and asnaf categories. The demand for "Environment, Social and Governance" was also emphasized by the industry players as one of the reciprocity of the contribution given later.

Also present in this information session were the Director of WAZAN UPM, Tuan Haji Haris Dahlan, Mr. Mohd Rizal Helmi A Razak and Mr Mohd Azrol Hafizi Azman.
