WAZAN UPM, 12 June - The Waqf, Zakat & Endowment Management Center (WAZAN) of Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM) received a visit from a delegation of the Universiti Tenaga Nasional Zakat Trust Fund (TAZU UNITEN) for a benchmark visit today. The visit carried out at WAZAN UPM involved eight officials from TAZU, including the Director of the UNITEN Islamic Center, Prof. Associate Dr. Amanuddin bin Shamsuddin, UNITEN Zakat Trust Fund Manager, Mr. Mohd Husin Talib, UNITEN Trust Fund Collection Executive and Administrative Assistant, UNITEN Trust Fund Distribution Executive and Administrative Assistant, and UNITEN Zakat Trust Fund Financial Administrative Assistant.

The benchmark visit conducted by TAZU UNITEN is aimed at gaining experience in zakat distribution management, collection management and zakat counter management available at UPM. In addition to that, this visit is a courtesy visit given to Tuan Haji Haris Dahlan as the newly appointed Director of WAZAN UPM on 1 April 2024.

Also present in this benchmark visit conducted by TAZU UNITEN are officers from the Waqf Endowment & Industry Relations Section, Zakat and Asnaf Development Section in sharing the experience of zakat and waqf management as well as the contributions made by each section in WAzAN - Nur Iqra
