Program SIDDIK is an initiative by the Lembaga Zakat Selangor aimed at supporting the education of children of zakat payers (muzakki) in the state of Selangor. The name SIDDIK is an acronym for Sumbangan Pendidikan Anak Muzakki Selangor.
📌 What is the SIDDIK Program?
SIDDIK is an educational contribution program provided to the children of zakat payers (muzakki) who are still in school, as a token of appreciation to parents who fulfil their zakat obligations.
🎯 Objectives
âœ”ï¸ To provide educational support for children of zakat payers;
âœ”ï¸ To encourage a savings culture for children’s future education through structured savin
📠Who is Eligible?
âœ”ï¸ Zakat payers (zakat on wealth) with Lembaga Zakat Selangor (including UPM as Penolong Amil) who contribute between RM500.00 to RM5,000.00 within a year (zakat fitrah is not included);
âœ”ï¸ Zakat payment must be made in October, November, or December within the same payment year;
âœ”ï¸ Children aged 7–17 years old who are currently studying in recognised institutions (Primary 1 to Form 5).
💰 Amount of Contribution
âœ”ï¸ RM100 for each eligible child;
âœ”ï¸ Contribution is given once a year per child;
âœ”ï¸ The amount will be credited directly into the child’s Simpan SSPN Prime account.
