Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM) organized the Grand Celebration of Eid al-Fitr 2024 involving all Responsibility Centers (PTj) throughout UPM yesterday on the 14th of Shawwal as usual. 

The organization of this year's grand celebration differs slightly from the arrangement in previous years, which was themed as an open house. All Responsibility Centers (PTJ) were encouraged to make preparations individually, such as preparing food, decorating, and inviting and receiving guests, turning their offices into open houses. 

UPM staff and external parties were also allowed to visit each other's PTj.

The Center for Waqf, Zakat & Endowment Management (WAZAN), UPM, also participated by preparing for the university-wide Eid celebration, engaging in decorations and a communal effort on the day prior. On the day of the event, all staff members were involved in preparing dishes to welcome guests, including food, dining arrangements, and more.

WAZAN UPM was fortunate when the Vice-Chancellor, YBhg. Dato’ Prof. Dr. Ahmad Farhan Mohd Sadullah, graciously visited the WAZAN UPM Open House in the evening to celebrate the occasion and engage with the staff at WAZAN UPM.

The grand celebration of Eid al-Fitr is celebrated with great meaning and gratitude as it strengthens the bonds between PTJs through visiting and interacting with one another. - WAZAN UPM
