Seri Kembangan, August 2023- Which mother wouldn't be moved seeing her child achieve success despite being burdened with life's challenges.
Puan Zunaini Abdullah, a mother of one student from Faculty of Educational Studies, Anis Nur Syafiqah Nik Yusup was crying when officers of WAZAN UPM visited their residence in Taman Equine last Monday.
Anis, 21 years old who lived with her parents at a flat near Jalan Putra Permai is financially struggling and had received educational fee aids from the Lembaga Zakat Selangor and Bantuan Sara Diri from WAZAN UPM through zakat funds.
Although she was coming from a family of 7 siblings, Anis's Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) is excellent, which brings tears to her mother's eyes.
WAZAN UPM has delivered a special personal financial aid and basic necessities package to Anis and her family during the Mahabbah Visit Program in 2023, held throughout the month of August 2023. To be informed, this program provides donations to 150 UPM welfare students nationwide.
