HIGHEST APPRECIATION AND CONGRATULATIONS TO THE DIRECTOR OF WAZAN ON THE CONFERMENT OF THE PUTRA SERVICE AWARD AND EXCELLENT SERVICE AWARD

SERDANG, May 20 - The Waqf, Zakat and Endowment Management Centre (WAZAN), Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM), extends its highest appreciation and congratulations to the Director of WAZAN, YBrs. Tuan Haji Haris bin Dahlan, on being conferred the Putra Service Award (Anugerah Jasa Putra - AJP) and the Excellent Service Award (Anugerah Perkhidmatan Cemerlang - APC) at the recent UPM Majlis Gemilang Putra.

The Putra Service Award was given in appreciation of his service of over 20 years at UPM, while the Excellent Service Award is a recognition of his outstanding achievements throughout 2025 in elevating the name of UPM in general and WAZAN in particular.

According to the Director of WAZAN, YBrs. Tuan Hj. Haris bin Dahlan, "I have served at UPM for more than 20 years, and Alhamdulillah, UPM appreciates me as a 'veteran' (orang lama) here. I would also like to thank UPM for valuing my efforts and presenting me with the excellent service award for my achievements in 2025," he said after receiving the awards and recognition at the Majlis Gemilang Putra.

The presentation of the excellence awards was officiated by YBhg. Dato' Professor Dr. Ahmad Farhan bin Mohd Sadullah FASc, the Vice-Chancellor of UPM, to more than 200 award recipients during the ceremony.

Indeed, these awards and recognition serve as an inspiration for all WAZAN staff to continue providing the best service and demonstrating superior work quality in the future.
